Product DescriptionService drop wire primarily used for 600 volt overhead service applications such as street lighting.outdoor lighting.and temporary service for construction. To be used at voltage of 600 volts phase- to -phase or less and at conductor temperatures not to exceed 75 Degree for polyethylene insulated conductors or 90 Degree for cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE) insulated conductors.
Duplex Service Drop Wire.
Duplex aluminium overhead cables have two conductors: one for electrodes, and the other one as a messenger (neutral conductor). This electrical wire, also called duplex overhead aluminum wire, is designed and manufactured for use in 600 V power distribution facilities. It is aerially installed with a maximum operational temperature rating of 75°C.
Conductors:
Duplex aluminium overhead cables have a concentric strand or compressed 1350-H19 series aluminum conductor.
Messenger:
Duplex overhead aluminum wire has a bare ACSR messenger.
Optional constructions include a messenger of AAC or 6201 alloy.
Insulation:
Cables with duplex overhead service drop conductors have a black cross linked polyethylene ( XLPE) insulation.
